Access Taxis provides accessible transport for individuals, families, carers, community groups and organisations across West Fife. Our services include wheelchair and mobility transport, local journeys, airport and train transfers, and support for care homes and assisted living facilities.
We aim to deliver safe, punctual and mobility‑aware assistance for every journey.

Bookings and Cancellations

• Bookings can be made by phone, message or through our website.
• We may request additional details to ensure we can meet your accessibility needs safely.
• If you need to cancel or change a booking, please let us know as soon as possible.
• Late cancellations or repeated no‑shows may affect future booking availability.

Passenger Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and smooth journey, passengers (or carers acting on their behalf) agree to:

• Provide accurate pick‑up and drop‑off information
• Share any relevant mobility or accessibility needs
• Use seatbelts or wheelchair restraints as required
• Behave respectfully towards the driver and vehicle

We reserve the right to refuse transport if a situation poses a safety risk.

Accessibility and Support
We take care to provide mobility‑aware assistance, including safe boarding, secure wheelchair travel and patient support. However, we are not a medical or emergency service. Passengers who require medical supervision must travel with an appropriate carer or support person.

Pricing and Payment

• Fares are based on distance, time and any additional requirements such as out‑of‑area travel.
• Pricing will be confirmed at the time of booking where possible.
• Payment is due at the end of the journey unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.

Safety and Conduct
Our driver is fully PVG‑checked, licensed and insured. We follow all relevant transport regulations and safety standards. Abuse, threatening behaviour or damage to the vehicle will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service or recovery of costs.

Liability
We take reasonable care to provide a safe and reliable service. However, Access Taxis is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or circumstances beyond our control. We are also not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings unless caused by negligence.
